Multi-Level Marketing or network marketing as it has become known has been around for over 40 years. For the most part mlm companies choose to market their product in a different method than the traditional manufacturer, wholesale, retail store process.

Their premise is they can save you money by buying from yourself and make you money when you sell a product at retail or build your own wholesale downline. This has proven to be true. But....Because of many less than honest people in mlm businesses over the years the industry has gotten a black eye and left thousands of people broke and heart broken.

Whether you do or do not like the network marketing approach to making money and selling products after 40 years it is here to stay. With the introduction of the internet mlm businesses have found a new way to market their products and the business opportunity to people like you and me.

I view this as a good thing if you do 2 things.

2. Take an honest approach to presenting the business opportunity you have
