"What Is An MLM Email Lead?"

What is an mlm email lead? MLM email leads are people who are
interested in getting more information on multi-level marketing.
These leads are generated by email. A prospect would fill out a
short online form containing their name, address, phone number
and of course email address.

Once they have submitted this form they have done what is called
opting in. An opt in email lead is the only kind of lead you
will want to follow up with. Buying bulk email leads is a waste
of time with all of the spam laws in effect. You only want to be
working with leads that have opted in and have requested to be
contacted by phone or email. 

There are various degrees of quality mlm email leads. The more
questions a prospect is willing to answer the better the quality
the leads is. Answers to questions like how much can you invest
to get started, or how soon do you want to start, indicate a
more serious prospect and therefore are going to cost you more.
A simple rule of thumb is this: the more information you are
receiving on your leads the more you will spend on the purchase
price.

The type of email mlm leads you want depend on how you work your
leads. I personally put my leads into an autoresponder an let it
deliver a series of pre-written marketing messages over a period
of time. Many network marketers will call all of their leads.
This is the best approach if you have time because so very few
people do it. You have a huge advantage when you can talk to
your prospect and you can get across the excitement you have
about your product and program. This excitement is harder to
project by email only.

I personally generate my own leads on my website and then follow-up
with them myself by autoresponder or phone. Buying any kind of mlm
leads is in my opinion a waste of time and money.
