I like this question because it makes you think.
What we are talking about here is the unsubscribe link for subscribers on your email list.
The question is where should you put the unsubscribe link? In my case Team-Schuman uses Aweber and we leave the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message.
To be truthful I am not even sure if there is an option to move that to the top of the message or not. If it is possible to do the question is would you want that unsubscribe link at the top of the message or at the bottom of the email message?
I say leave it at the bottom of the message where people are used to finding them. This way they can easily unsubscribe from your mailing list if they do not want to be on it.
We don’t twist anyone’s arm to get them to subscribe to our JV With Jeff email messages. By the same token we don’t actively encourage people to unsubscribe, and if they want to do it then its up to them.
