Twitter Explained In Plain English
Twitter is micro blogging and has really taken over the social networking scene in a very short time.
6 months ago I had not even heard of Twitter. Now I Tweet almost everyday. You have to love the internet and the terminology it has created.
Here is a short video explaining Twitter in plain English!
There are people who must live on Twitter. Or maybe they pay someone to do it for them.
For example as I type this Chris Brogan is following 43,932 people, has 48,015 people following him, and has done 35,267 updates. Why would he do that?

As I have analyzed Twitter it finally dawned on me what a tremendous source of traffic this could be if you had a large list of followers. Just having fun and socializing with people will naturally lead to traffic if you post enough updates.
Not everyone cares about traffic and making money when they use Twitter though!
Ashton Kutcher has over 166,000 followers yet is only following 46 people himself. He may be marketing himself when he tweets, but he does not even list his own blog in his profile.
My stats this morning show I have alot of work to do to really start benefiting from Twitter. I am following 1293, have 1303 followers, and have made 292 updates.

A very informative post and very easy to follow video that explains twitter perfectly
So true how no one new about this phenomenon a few months agao yet now it’s being talked about even in the national media
Last night for example the news from the sad accident in Schipol airport in the Netherland was broadcast first on Twitter

I keep hearing about this Twitter from different sources but just didn’t care to check it out because I don’t really care to jump on every bangwaggon that passes by. Now I hear about Twitter from you my respected source so I finally checked it out on your video. Thanks for the info, later I will create a profile and see where it takes me or my business. Thanks.
