Social Bookmark Submission
When making a social bookmark submission you must weigh the benefits of doing so against the time that it takes. I’ve come up with a very quick way to social bookmark my blog posts and I’ll go over that right now.
After I’ve written my article the first thing I do is click on my link to Onlywire.com which I have added to the bottom of each single page in my blog folder publsihed by WordPress. Onlywire.com contains over 20 social directories that you can join individually one at a time.
Once you have joined all of these directories you can submit to each one by making one submission to your Onlywire account.
This is a free service that is provided for you and makes it very easy to bookmark a blog post one time. All you do is enter your title, blog URL of the post itself, tag keywords, and a brief summary. You then click submit and that post is submitted to the various directories.
I do like to do blog posts for search engine bait, so I will take an extra step and submit my blog article to Stumbleupon, Digg, Propeller, Reddit, Technorati, Windows Live, Yahoo Bookmarks, and Google Bookmarks.
I have a drop down plug in installed so I can quickly do this at the bottom of each individual post.
I try and make each blog article around 250 to 300 words and then I bookmark that specific post. This whole process takes me 30 minutes, or less, and brings me traffic from the social directories as well as from the search engines.
By doing this on a consistent basis I am now on page 1 of Google for over 2800 hundred unique keyword phrases. This continues to bring the long-term traffic and it all starts with a social bookmark submission of my blog post.
