Today we want to talk about pre-selling as it pertains to
affiliate marketing. One common mistake a new affiliate makes is
to send their visitors directly to their affiliate page. This is
a “BIG MISTAKE” for several reasons. Here are 2 of them…

1. You have no way to capture their name and email address for
future follow-up. Since it could take up to 12 exposures for
someone to buy from you how will you do that if you just send
them to your affiliate sales page.

2. The minute you start selling before you have created a
comfort zone with your visitor you turn them off. Think about
that. When you first meet someone, or talk to someone, or get an
email from someone you do not know ,do you like to be immediately
be sold something?

Me either! My thought is this “Who Are You?” You can solve this
problem by first sending your visitor to a web page that
pre-sells your visitor on your product. You do this by offering
a testimonial from yourself if you have a personal experience
with the product. Or you offer a product review based on
research you have done on it.

Doing one of these things makes you stand out from the several
thousand of other affiliates who are just advertising their
affiliate page. It also allows you to offer a free report, or a
free email mail course where you can capture your visitors name
and email address and follow up with them by email on more
features and benefits of the product you are selling.

If you have a website I suggest you start doing this ASAP.
Pre-selling is something I personally do and am starting to do
more as I promote specific products within an affiliate program
I am in.

Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet” Course

You earn $65 on each sale. If you buy it from yourself you make
a commission which is always the way to buy a product online if
you can. Learn about and then write about what you have learned.
Send me the review. I will create a web page just for you and
put your affiliate link for this course on the page. By preselling
you get your visitor in the mood for purchasing the product before
you send them to your affiliate page.

Then write several articles about internet marketing and put the
web page address in a resource box like we discussed in an
earlier training. When people read your article they are sent to
your pre-selling page which I have built for you. If you want to
capture their name and email we can do that as well.

forever. You have a chance to make a sale today, next week, next
year, who knows. Making money in affiliate marketing is all
about giving yourself as many chances as possible.
