New Years Resolution Tips
Happy New Year!
For some reason I am extremely optimistic about my internet business in 2009.
I hope you feel the same way about yours!
I am not a big fan of New Year’s Resolutions because most of the time they are made and quickly forgotten.
I would rather see you make 1 or 2 realistic goals and work your butt off to achieve them. The key here is realistic. No sense shooting for eagles and hitting crows. All that does is put a bad taste in your mouth.
Here is a good article on “10 Tips For Keeping New Year’s Resolutions” that is a quick read. It is written by Amber J. Tresca and the first thing she mentions is being realistic.
If you do not do that the other 9 tips are pretty much worthless.
Good luck to you and your personal and business goals in 2009!

Jeff I find your tips very very helpful. I have saved them in a special folder in my mailbox. I wish you and family all the best for 20009. I am a start up business and I intend to make 2009 my year. Hopefully I will be able to order some of your products from the proceeds of sales.
Take care Jeff and thanks for being so unselfish.
Dee

Happy New Year! But I’m not sure I agree with the “being realistic” part - too often that becomes an excuse for not going all out, in my experience. I would rather shoot for the stars and hit the moon, than just shoot for and hit a small improvement. The trick after that is to realize that what matters is you tried and gave it everything - the only true failure is to have not even tried…
So - my mission this year is to take my latest internet business to $10,000 per month net. Let’s have an awesome year!

Hi Gary,
You bring up some good points. The key is you know what works for you and are able to set high goals and work toward them. I tend to be more like you.
However the average person needs to be a bit more realistic. This will give them a better chance of succeeding in 2009!
