Over in the Conquer Your Niche forum there was a post on getting the right mindset for your business. This is important as your business will never move forward it you do not have the right attitude most of the time.

I say most of the time because it is impossible to to do it all of the time. I would say 2 things on getting the right mindset.

1. Like what you do online and do more of it.

2. Create a daily to do list.

I enjoy internet marketing so it is very easy for me to go to work everyday. I do it full time now. When I was part time I really had to focus to be effective. Otherwise I seemed busy, but was I? Do not mistake activity for achievment.

I found I liked article marketing and focused on that because I enjoyed it and it was effective in helping me grow my business. I set goals for writing, submitting, and building one web page a day out of an article.

Over time my Team-Schuman website is on page one of Google for over 1300 keyword phrases. Even doing a little bit everyday can really add up over time.

What does that mean for you?

If you like pay per click advertising do more of it. If you like to place classifed ads do more of that. If you like to interact with other marketers do more online forum marketing and social networking.

I see people trying to do it all and never doing anything to build their business. Big Mistake!

You will never make any money online if you do not like what you are doing. You may make a little money for while, but it will never be a long term income for you. You have to like what you are doing to want to do it everyday.

And then of course you have to have a daily to do list. Even if you only write 2 things on it, you must write them down. Then check them off after they are done. It sounds easy, but many people will not do this and so they just fool around all day not accomplishing anything.
