The longer you work at making money on the internet the more internet marketing lessons online you will have to learn. When you get a website to the top of Google, (like my Team-Schuman.com website is), for hundreds of different keywords many different things will happen with your internet business. Certainly you get more traffic which leads to more sales and more income for you.

Another interesting thing is you get contacted almost everyday with offers to promote other people’s products. I got an email the other day from Francois du Toit. Here is what it said….

I downloaded the book on this because he is a fellow warrior and I thought I would give it a look. I figured it would be a short read. With all of the short 10-15 page free reports these days it is pretty easy to browse through things. Here is what I found.

WOW, this ebook is loaded with great information. First of all it is 100 pages on the internet marketing lessons online that Francois has learned that allowed him to go full time as an internet marketer. He wisely points out that to have $100 or $1000 days on the internet you are going to have to learn how to do it first. It takes time to build an internet business just like any business.

He compares internet marketing to going to college. It is a wide open field and you have to decide what you want to do to make money just as you decide what you want to major in when you go to college. I like this point because I see people jumping all over the place and never finding their own comfort zone so to speak. Therefore they never learn anything, they never make any money, they get frustrated, and they quit. Another internet marketing casualty.

Another point he makes I really like is that the moment you earn your first dollar online something clicks in your head. You now think if I can make $1 I could earn $10, or $100, or more. This is very true because that exactly what happened to me. It was very encouraging to have small success and then know I could build it into a larger success and achieve my own goal of quitting my job and working full time online.

Francois has written a great guide to internet marketing lessons online. Digging For Gold Nuggets includes an intro and resources chapter and 11 other chapters including one on marketing that I really enjoyed as well.

In the marketing chapter he points out it is better to have a list of 1000 people who have done business with you than it is to have a list of 10,000 prospects. He discusses how to create a sales funnel to make more money on your list once you have an established customer.
