Internet Marketing Forums-My 5 Favorites
I have always enjoyed spending a little time everday in internet marketing forums. Early in my career I would just go and read various discussions that caught my eye.
There is probably no better free training available to you than a good discussion on something that pertains to your online business. You can even get answers to questions of your own.
Plus if you do it right you can begin to join in the discussions and build your own credibility. This can lead to new business. We have never run an ad for our article writer business yet it has turned into a full time income stream of it’s own. Same thing for our spin off business we call Hands Off Article Marketing.
There are many good internet marketing forums where you can hang out and have a good time and learn a lot as well. You can give back to this great business by answering questions and being a part of the discussion to.
Here are my 5 favorites.
To find a specific forum for the niche your business is in check out the Big Boards. They say they are the largest message board on the internet and when you see all of the different forums available it is hard to argue with them.
Anyway I have to say that online forum marketing does work, but it takes time and consistency like everything online. But if you set some goals to make a few posts everyday to your favorite forums over time it can really pay off for you.

I visit the Warrior Forum every day. Being new I am still mostly reading and learning. This has proven to be one of the best resources that I have for learning and this is because of the members like you. Now I just have to venture out more to other forums.

I tend to agree forums can be a great place to learn and also to promote yourself and websites for free. However one thing I’ve noticed with internet marketing forums is that they can become very overwhelming in terms of the information and how it’s organized.
There are so many so-called sure fired techniques being spewed on those boards you can easily end up chasing your tail. So it’s important that people learn to ignore noise and only focus on things of real value to their needs.
I don’t know how many times I’ve gone the warrior forum to get an answer about A and end up reading topics B - Z which then lead me to wasting more hours and trying other things that I had no real need to. So watch out for the noise. Stay focused.
Forums are also great to help you determine what’s crap out there and what’s worth buying. I’ve saved myself a few hundred dollars reading others feedback about products I was seriously considering purchasing. It’s a great way to avoid being scammed.
WealthyAffiliate.com is another great one. It’s really helped me learn about PPC marketing and also what crap to avoid. It’s not free but it’s definitely worth the small monthly fee for the value and stuff you get. Stompernet is another great one for those that want to learn SEO. I hope this helps.
