Interactive Traffic Exchange

I am teaching my wife Diane several different facets of internet marketing. One thing Team-Schuman has not done much with in the past is Traffic Exchanges. That is changing. I have learned a bunch about this underused method for getting traffic to websites, blog, affiliate pages, etc. An interactive traffic exchange is actually a very easy way to get traffic.

I have even spent a little time surfing for credits and it can be quite addictive. Here are 3 keys to making traffic exchanges work for you.

1. Drive traffic to a landing page rather than a sales page. Because you only have a few seconds to catch someone’s attention they are not going to read your sales page, but they will read a short landing page.

2. Surf several traffic exchanges at a time. I personally do 3 at time which allows me to start with Traffic Swarm. They have 20 seconds between ads. In that time I can go surf on 2 other exchanges before returning to Traffic Swarm.

3. Do not use traffic exchanges to promote a web page with Google Adsense on it. Under the terms of service Google will ban you from their Adsense program if you are caught referring traffic to a page with their ads on it.

I bought a very good book and am offering it here for $7. It is titled “13 Deady Traffic Exchange Tragedies” and is for people who are not happy with they results they are getting from traffic exchanges. I learned several things from it and you can turn around and sell it and make your $7 back plus more.

So what makes an interactive traffic exchange?

The good ones get you involved. One I joined and like is called Traffic Splash. They offer free credits for every 15 pages surfed. To see how many you get on the 16th page you click on a button and they tell you. Then those are added to your total for the day. It might be 3, 5, 9 credits or whatever. You do not win everytime, but you do find yourself watching how many pages until you see how many you won.

Another traffic exchange I like is Soaring4Traffic. An internet friend of mine. Ray White, owns this and does a great job of making it interactive. He offers customer support if you need it, publishes a very good newsletter, and they offer a unique program called surf console, which I intent to look into more this week.

These are 3 I am having good luck with so far. They all offer referral programs to earn even more credits for referring people who surf.

O.K. Here are my 3 top picks so far for the best internet active traffic exchange.

1. Traffic Swarm- I earn the most credits with them.

2. Traffic Splash-This is a fun one and offers contests to earn more credits.

3. Soaring4Traffic- They offer great training and support.

One other thing to address is do you upgrade with one or more of these. I did after I saw some results and realized I could earn credits quicker as a pro member. You have to weigh the benefits of doing that yourself. I just know I would rather earn 2 or 3 times as many credit for one click when I do it.

But if you can not upgrade traffic exchanges can still be a very good way to get traffic coming in and all you do is invest your time and surf for ads.

Try them out. Get a system going for promoting your favorite website or program. Create a splash page or landing page to capture info for follow-up and you will really benefit.

Thanks for the information! I really always thought traffic exchanges didn’t really work in terms producing sales and leads. But I guess may have to check out this ebook to see if there is something I missing here.
You should also check out John Reese’s BlogRush Network
which is basically a traffic exchange for blogs.

I wrote a review about the program that you and your users may find helpful if they’re interested in blog traffic exchange programs.

    I hope this is helpful.

I have to agree, traffic exchanges can be a great source of leads if they are used properly, and with fun being the optimum word.

There are many enjoyable features in the better traffic exchanges that allow for chat or messaging within the system or with ones team, I personally think its a bonus kind of traffic when you can combine these.

Surfing multiple exchanges in a tabbed browser is good, makes sense and has been a valid habit for many.

    Thanks, Have A Great Day
