Have you set in front of your computer and wondered how long until I make money doing what I am doing? I’ll bet you have because even now sometimes I wonder how long a project or website I am working on will start paying off for me.

Can you do it in “30 Days?” I doubt it, and here is why!

One of my favorite forums I hang out in is for one of my favorite money making programs called the Plugin Profit Site. This program is really geared towards the newbie niche. People who are new to internet marketing or making money online.

One common misconception people have is they can join a few programs, buy some traffic, and look for the the checks. Think about this. My oldest son is a senior in college. He will have spent 4 years and over $50k dollars (with some help from us) to get a degree that will allow him to go out and compete for a job.

In that 4 years he will become an article writer for an internet writing business I started just for him to make money. He will intern with Fox 31 in Denver in the sports department. He will go to class, study, pass tests, and finally he will graduate on time.

Here is my point. Starting an internet business is no different than going to college in many ways. If you do not have the skills to market online you are going to have to learn them. At least learn something. It is not going to take you 4 years or $50K dollars out of your pocket either.

But it will take some of your time and a lot of effort to make money. If there is 1 billion websites and blogs what will make yours stand out. Granted there is not 1 billion sites in your niche, but there is going to be competition.

To make money online you will have to compete, and win, to get visitors to your site, and convert some of that into sales, which is how you will earn your money.

Your question was “how long until I make money“, and my answer is it will take until you learn something and apply it!
