He talks about researching a niche by analyzing an event or something hot using Google Trends to learn more about it.

This makes sense as Google is easily the largest search engine in the world. If someone is searching for it on Google there is probably a chance you can make money in it somehow.

I like hot trends and Google looks at that too. With Hot Trends, you can see a snapshot of what’s on the public’s collective mind by viewing the fastest-rising searches for different points of time.

For example as I type this the Oscar Nominations just came out and it shows up #1 on today’s hot trends.

Of course with our new Niche Power Group we talk about doing niche marketing with affiliate marketing as your business model. Affiliate marketing works well because the products are already in place and you can move quickly if you are trying to capitalize on a hot trend.
