I have been thinking alot about how Amazon left the state of Colorado after they tried to force them to pay taxes on all affiliate sales.

This is a very big deal if you do any kind of affiliate marketing. I came across a website called Internet Sales Tax legislation that you can and shoudl follow. How long before states try to tax all affiliate programs?

Could a fee be charged on all emails we send?

This stuff bothers me and is just another example of the over taxation we all suffer from in this country.

With the high number of unemployed people in the U.S. the internet is offering a real way to make much needed money. Adding additional taxes to affiliate sales is a bad idea for those of us who do use affiliate marketing to make money.

Not being able to sell Amazon products in Colorado now is just the beginning of a very bad trend for affiliate marketers.
