I see where another famous Internet marketing guru is revealing new secrets in his latest and greatest make money book.

I am not going to buy it and I did not buy the other new one last week either.

You need to ask yourself the question, do you really need more make money training, before you spend more money?

There is a couple of things you should know before you consider me anti-educational. First of all I was raised in a home where my father was an elementary principal and school teacher. I grew up in a family where education was emphasized.

When I started my Internet marketing career I bought everything I could get my hands on. I may be one of the few people who actually took the time to read most of what I bought.

I overloaded several computers with reports and ebooks saved to my hard drive. I was fascinated by making money on the Internet and wanted to learn everything I could.

I am not really sure how necessary that is today. If I am constantly purchasing new training courses I personally find it hard to budget the time necessary to get my work done, and still study what I just bought.

Plus I’m finding that the information in them is really not that different from one to the next.

I have seen one particular Internet marketing guru come out with something along the lines of a new e-book or training program every few months. As I read through it I find it is stuff that I personally could have written myself if I had the ambition, and I am hardly a guru.

If I was you I would take a step back and analyze where you are at in your own Internet marketing career right now.

How many training courses have you bought and never taken the time to go completely through?

Is your hard drive full of reports and ebooks you have never read? It’s so easy to purchase things because at the time you feel like it’s really going to make a difference in your business.

In reality there really aren’t that many new secrets right now. Internet marketing is so simple that we all let the so called gurus complicate it for us.

All you really need is a website or blog, a really good product or products, a way to get paid, and quality traffic every day. Certainly as you break all these down it can be difficult when you first start out.

However, as your business gets to rolling, if you spend the majority of your time working on getting backlinks your business will grow. That means concentrating on marketing and advertising all of the time.

You can certainly subscribe to a few feeds for your favorite blogs and get plenty of training. Or listen to BlogTalkRadio.com. I heard Willie Crawford do a great radio interview on selling to offline businesses recently
