Thanks for the tips, Jeff! I try to post fresh unique content to my blog every day, and it seems to work because I have gotten a PR2 ranking with Google. My blog is only 3 months old.

I think, as with any site, the more fresh, unique content you can churn out the better. I've been posting at least once a day and for the first time since I've been online, my pages are getting indexed in just a few hours. I also notice my readers tend to come back more often when I post more frequently, obviously because they know there will be fresh content. If you constantly come back and see the same thing, they won't be back for a while.

Hi Jeff,

What a timely post to read. As I have just set up another blog, and it is also my passion on the topic of this 2nd blog. Sound advice.

I have my website set up where it converts itself into a blog. So whenever I post a new page, it automatically makes a blog entry for me. This gives me a double whammy. I am a website, and a blog. Since I am putting up 7-10 pages a week, my blog is filling out nicely as well.

THanks for clearing that up for me Jeff. I personally blog daily and sometimes twice per day depending on my time. Truthfully speaking, it someone is trying to boost their traffic online with their blogs, I believe they should make time to post to it on a regular basis if they are really serious about their business. Fantastic post!
