Best Way To Promote A Website
Here is an interesting question to ponder. If you could only promote your business one way today what would you choose to do?
If you can answer that question immediately you are probably skilled in the least one form of advertising online. If you cannot then maybe you need to step back and determine which marketing skill you want to develop first.
Without a question I can tell you exactly the steps that I would use to promote my website today and do it in a one hour or less.
1. I will write a 400 word article or more targeting a specific keyword phrase within the niche of my website.
2. I would then take that article and submitted it to Submityourarticle.com.
3. I would be sure and use their Article Leverage Program which will allow me to rewrite the article until it is at least 30% unique. I know I can do this in 15 minutes or less.
4. I would take one of the versions of the article that is 40 to 50% unique and go back and post it in my blog.
5. When posting in my blog I will title the blog post using only the keyword phrase and nothing else. I will also bold the keyword phrase in the first and last paragraph of this article.
6. I will then social bookmark my article to the top directories using Onlywire.com. I will also manually bookmark it using the WordPress plug-in I have installed to Stumbleupon, Propeller, Digg, and two or three others.
7. My final step is to go back to Submityourarticle and click the submit button. They will submit the article to several hundred article directories including some of the top ones like Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, Idea Marketers and so on.
Using this strategy is allowing me to create back links to my website, to create traffic from article directories and social directories, and it is creating search engine bait which ranks me high for my targeted keyword phrases.
I will do this two times a week as that is all Submit Your Article will let me do. On the off days I will use the same strategy, but will shorten the length of my article the 250 to 300 words and submit it to Ezinearticles.com as well as my blog.
I would say that this is the best way to promote your website today and something that everyone should look into if they are interested in long term traffic for their Internet business

Great post Jeff. I agree totally article marketing for me is by far the best strategy for promiting a website. I also use Submityourarticle and I am extremely happy with the results I have been getting since using them. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to increase traffic and links.

Good for you. As I am seeing when I look at Google Analytics article marketing is great for traffic and quality traffic.

Yes I agree with you about article writing. Currently I am using Traffic Swarm. I get clicks but no sign ups at all and I have been at it for about a week. Do you think that one can get signups via Traffic Swarm?

Traffic exchanges are tough to get program sign ups because most people will not read the long sales letters. You are better off to use a short landing page, get their contact information, and then follow up with your sales messages via autoresponder over a period of time after you have built some credibility with them.
