Here is one example of how your niche can really determine whether your article is even read. In a one week I submitted two different articles to Ezine articles.com

One of the articles was about “How to Make a Small Bedroom Larger” That article received 415 views and 56 clicks through on the url in the resource box.

On the same day I submitted an article titled “10 Effective Ways To Use Your Autoresponder You May Not Be Doing” which received 34 views and 1 click through on the url listed in the resopurce box.

I have an article written a couple of months ago on how to get rid of cigarette smoke in my apartment that has over 1100 views and 135 url clicks. Pretty good considering the best home business article was on how to use hard work to make money online with 135 views and 29 url clicks.

I have been reading all along about the importance of getting into different niches. The Internet marketing niche is crowded. The home business and work at home niche always has new people entering it, but it can be difficult to come up with new ways to say the same old thing.

Here is what this has taught me. There really are people reading articles in these directories as well as the search engine bait they attract.

The key however is to write interesting articles people want to read. If they niche you are in does not lend intself to that find other ways to market your business and in the meantime get into another niche and start marketing it with articles.
