I was reading a question in the Plugin Profit Site forum by David who was wondering if he should put Adsense ads on his blog. He has a Blogger.com blog and is worried that by putting Google Adsense ads on his blog he would be driving his traffic away before they read anything he was writing. This is a good question. So here is my adsense blog tip for the day…

I just started 2 new blogs with Blooger.com and the first thing I did was put a blended 330 X 280 ad at the top of the page. Why not. Everyone who comes to your website will leave. If they leave by clicking on a Google Ad at least you make a small commission. I call these things internet vending machines. A little adds up.

The other thing I think is good is Google owns Blogger.com and Google Adsense. If you really post a lot on your blog Google is going to start spidering it more often and you have the potential to get a high page ranking for various individual posts which can create traffic.

The key to this is to name your post by the keyword you are writing about. If I am writing about make money being online I will name my post Make Money Being Online. I will try to work those words into the first paragraph of the post.

Another little trick is to write one paragraph and then link your blog post back to a web page you have built with the same keyword.

In the post I link to this web page I built:

http://www.ideas-from.us/marriage/best-divorce-lawyer.html

I will also take the article from the web page and re-write it a little and submit it to the top article directories. In that article I will put the link of the web page I just built in my resource box. This gives me a backlink to that page to create more traffic and to get the search engines to the new page as well.
