Make Residual Income Online

This post is about how to make residual income online. When you understand this concept you will do whatever it takes to build a large internet business. One of the biggest benefits of having a website with thousands of backlinks to it is the traffic you get even when you do not work.

This has really hit home to me again in the past couple of days. Last Saturday night I felt a gout attack coming in my left foot. If you have never had gout consider yourself lucky. This is about the most painful thing a person can have.

Needless to say I have not felt like working on the computer. Just trying to keep my foot perfectly still has been a full time job. In between the throbbing and sometimes sobbing I had some time to think about where my internet business is at today.

Here is what I decided….

1. The effort I have put in to get as many backlinks to my my Team-Schuman.com website and some of my other blogs and websites has been worth it. Even when I do not work I get visitors to my websites and I make money. I call this making residual income and anyone willing to work can do it.

2. I need more visitors to my website. I am averaging a little over 1200 visitors a day to my Team-Schuman website. I would like to increase that by 2 1/2 times. That is not a magic number except for the fact that when you multiply 3000 visitors a day by 365 days in a year that is over 1 Million visitors a year, which has a nice ring to it.

3. The residual income I am earning is coming to me via pay per sale, pay per click, pay per lead with affiliate and network marketing.

Here are my top income streams on a monthly basis.

A. Plugin Profit Site- This is a hybrid program combining affiliate marketing and network marketing. It is nice because I make money every month on hosting, network marketing, affiliate marketing, and traffic exchanges.

B. Google Adsense and 7Search- These are the 2 pay per click programs I get paid by the click for. It really does not get any easier than that!

C. Max Bounty- This is the main pay per lead program I earn money everyday when someone fills out a form. The leads are sold to advertisers and I get paid for each one.

D. Article Writer Business- I personally write some for customers everday, but I do not have to. I have several writers who have written for me in the past that write articles for our Article Writer business. It is worth considering whether you can provide a service online and develop that into a residual income.

E. Affiliate Marketing- Selling other people’s stuff can be a residual income stream when you have hundreds of pages online with your affiliate links on them. The more web pages and blog posts with affiliate links on them the better. My article writer website has my affiliate link to Article Marketer which has turned out to be one of my best affiliate products I make money on. Selling eBooks from ClickBank has been good as well.

F. Network Marketing- I do best with Success University and SFI. These are both part of the Plugin Profit Site program, but I get sign-ups to them individually for people not interested in PIPS.

G. Resale Right Products- This is something that I am just starting to promote and so far so good. Getting paid a 100% commission is a great thing. I see this as a huge potential residual income stream as I get more backlinks to my pre-sell pages and the sales pages themselves. Getting a deposit in my PayPal account several times per day is very exciting. I like not having to develop a product and yet getting paid for selling it. $7 Dollar Graphics is a good example of a resale rights product.

I have been marketing online part time since the fall of 2002 and full time now since April 2006. It has been a challenging and rewarding ride so far. I can not ever see myself not working online on a consistent basis, but I am happy to know that I make residual income online everyday even when I do not work.

Can you say that about the job you get up everyday and go to work for! If something happens to you, what happens to your income? This is why creating a residual income stream, or streams, via internet marketing should be important to you.

It will take a lot of work. Do not think you can throw a website or blog up one day and start making money the next. Yes, with Google Adwords or other pay per click advertising you can get traffic to a website the first day. However, this is not residual income because you have to manage your advertising all of the time and the cost for ppc programs keeps going up.

Only through seo, article marketing, social marketing and Web 2.0, forum marketing, blogging, and other methods can you eventually get an authority website that brings you repeat traffic over and over. This is the residual income that allows you to take time off and still see yourself making money everyday!
