I saw an email from a top internet marketer who said that New Year’s Resolutions do not work. His point was that they must not work because no one ever sticks to them. You know what? He’s Right!

I would venture to say that over 95% of the people who say they are going to lose weight never do. Or if they do they gain it all back. Quitting smoking! It is the easiest thing to do in the world. I know people who have done it at least 10 times..:-)

So think about this. How about just setting 1 or 2 main goals for your business and sticking to them until you complete them! Here are my main goals for Team-Schuman.com in 2007.

1. Get 1 Million visitors to my Team-Schuman.com website. This is not as easy as it sounds because in 2006 I hit 367,000 visitors. I have some plans to help me get 1 Million visitors in 2007 and most of this is going to be free or almost free traffic.

2. I want to move my network marketing website into the top 3 websites listed on Google for the keywords network marketing. This is a website I started as a sub domain in June 2006 and this is a very competitive keyword phrase, …But I think I can do it by concentrating on backlinks and fresh content for this website. One way I will do that is posting in forums more this year and hyperlinking the phrase network marketing back to my sub domain address.

3. Develop JV With Jeff to help more people make money online with the
Plugin Profit Site and Article Writers Wanted. I started with JV With Jeff in Sept. 2006 and it has evolved into a training program to help people make money online with affiliate marketing, network marketing, and article writing. I try to make myself accessible by email and sometimes by phone. This is hard to do and get everything done, so I am going to limit my phone training to PIPS members only in 2007.

4. Earn $150,000 in 2007 and eliminate all debt. To do this I am going to start a refinance mortgage lead website as well. I am partnering with a mortgage loan friend of mine to get him leads of people looking to refinance their homes. Of course my long term strategy here will be to attack a primary keyword and then write articles and post in forums to create backlinks to my new refinance website.

We will split the commissions on the sales he makes from the leads I get him. This will beat the heck out of selling leads for $1-$2 a piece which I have done in the past from affiliate programs like Max Bounty and Affiliate Fuel. Earning up to $1750 in commissions is a much better form of pay per lead in my opinion. This is something anyone can do if you find the right person to partner with.

These are my main goals in 2007. To do this I will be working around 70 hours a week which is just about right for me. Any more than that and I get tired and burned out. We plan on getting to Mexico and Hawaii once as well as Las Vegas and Dallas with our youngest son Josh. He is playing basketball on an all star travel team again this summer.

All work and no play makes Jeff a dull boy.

Pick a couple of main goals for yourself and go for them. Just make them goals that are meaningful to you and then stick to them. Write them down and read them everyday. You can do it!
